Little gap in the vegetation gave a nice view to Spencer’s Butte across the running trail in Amazon Park. Painted as the seasons were changing; the bits and pieces of this scene resemble the way it looked on different days. The clouds were putting on a show on the day I started this. On the Corner
New landscape painting in Eugene. This is the Jacqua Center, a very high end building on the University of Oregon that exclusively serves student athletes. Fall started to show up while I painted this. Acrylic on canvas, 16″ x 20″. Also in outer world.

Tree Float
First new painting of 2013! Recently had a commission for this piece. After another work of mine Floating, though this painting evolved differently, with more layers and overlapping colors. Acrylic and twine on canvas, 20″ x 24″. See it in The free line.
Taking Form
The tall building in the center is One57 – a new residential skyscraper that is making a big impact on the skyline. No doubt it will provide some incredible views of the park and surrounding neighborhoods. This piece is also posted in the Outer World gallery.
